Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a 325-bed short-term acute care hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT-R or RCIS certification.
Details
- Work in a cardiac cath lab at a 325-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Performs all diagnostic procedures, PCI (stents, balloon angioplasty, laser, rotational atherectomy, Impella, IABP, CTO), Structural Heart (TAVR, Balloon Valvuloplasty, Watchman), and Electrophysiology (EPS, AFib/Flutter ablations, BiV and pacemaker implants)
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call required: 1 call day per week and one weekend every 5–6 weeks
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS required
- ARRT-R or CCI RCIS certification required
- WA Radiologic Technologist or CIS license required; license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Rhythm interpretation preferred
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates with a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration; RTO requests made after submission or offer may be denied
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
