Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU night shift position requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and active MO or Compact licensure.

Details

• CVICU unit within an academic hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Schedule may include every other weekend, or structured as Fri–Sun or 6 on/8 off contracts
• Floating required to ICU, Med/Surg, and Med/Surg Telemetry units
• Highest acuity and specialty equipment patients are cared for by core staff; travelers will work with the remaining patient population
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Coverage for at least 50% of holidays during the contract is required
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, OR 1 year of Level 1 CTICU experience
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront for consideration
