Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab Holding position requiring Epic EMR proficiency and at least 1 year of relevant unit experience.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Cath Lab Holding unit, providing support to the cath lab and its holding area
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule — no weekends and no on-call requirements
• 8-hour shifts with varying start times: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• The later shift team may occasionally need to stay beyond scheduled hours to recover patients
• Epic EMR is used; 1 year of Epic experience is required
• Floating to other units and/or campuses within the health system may be required based on census needs; float assignments will only include units and tasks for which competencies have been demonstrated

Requirements

• Active RN license — SC or Compact license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab or Cath Lab Holding experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Primary responsibility is supporting the cath lab and its patient holding area, including post-procedure patient recovery
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the relevant Prisma Health flagship campus (Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville) to be eligible for this position
