Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level 2 Trauma Center in Jersey City, NJ, requiring both scrub and circulate skills with robotic and ENT experience.

Details

• Work setting is an OR at a Level 2 Trauma Center
• Patient mix includes all OR specialties except open heart surgery
• Specialties include orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro cases, as well as robotic and ENT procedures
• Evening shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
• On-call required twice per schedule
• Charting system: Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care OR experience required
• Must be proficient in both scrub and circulate roles
• Robotic surgery experience required
• ENT surgical experience required
• Experience in orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro OR specialties required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current professional references required

• Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
