Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience, including Level 1 Trauma Center, ED, inpatient, and OR settings, for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Level 1 Trauma Center hospital setting, covering the ED, inpatient, and OR departments
• Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with rotating weekends every 6 weeks
• Coverage of at least 50% of holidays occurring during the assignment
• Siemens, McKesson, or GE equipment experience preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience, with at least 1 year in the specific specialty
• Level 1 Trauma Center, ED, inpatient, and OR experience required
• Current ARRT certification and BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Active MO or Compact state license required (no pending licenses)
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must be able to lift and move objects weighing 20 lbs or more, with or without reasonable accommodation
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are eligible but may qualify at a reduced pay rate

• Role involves frequent ambulating, reaching, and physical activity in a fast-paced acute care environment
• This position routinely involves contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
