Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with Level I trauma experience and proficiency in Siemens, McKesson, and Cerner systems for an evening shift contract at an academic medical center.

Details

• Level I trauma center hospital setting within an academic medical facility
• MRI unit serving adult ICU, adult acute care, and pediatric patient populations
• Evening shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Weekend availability required
• On-call availability required
• Holiday coverage required for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of overall experience with at least 1 year in MRI
• Level I trauma experience required; first-time travelers considered with 2+ years of Level I trauma experience
• Previous travel experience preferred
• BLS, and ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
• Experience with Siemens and McKesson equipment required
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• MO or Compact license required if applicable — active license required; no pending licenses accepted
• Must be able to lift and move objects weighing 20 lbs or more, and perform frequent ambulating and reaching
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a reduced travel pay rate
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration
• Potential exposure to patients with contagious illnesses is inherent to this role
