Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Vascular Telemetry (M5) night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Located on a Vascular unit (M5) in a major academic medical center
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Epic EMR is required for this position
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience required
• BLS and/or other certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• Epic EMR experience required — candidates without Epic experience will not be considered
• US Social Security Number required — Canadian SIN not accepted
• Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted (personal and religious exemptions are not accepted)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Candidates residing in the following NY counties are not eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
• No blocked scheduling allowed; any requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration
• More than 3 call-outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
