Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of acute care experience and active ARRT registration for a 13-week assignment in Massachusetts.

Details

• Hospital-based radiology department
• 4x8 hour shifts per week, working 1st or 2nd shift
• Available shift times include 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, and 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• Proficiency with PACS and HIS/RIS systems required

Requirements

• Graduation from a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program required; Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or appropriate military training accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting required
• Active R.T.(R)(ARRT) registration required, or registry-eligible with R.T.(R)(ARRT) completion within 6 months of hire
• Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• Computer proficiency including PACS and HIS/RIS required
• Travel experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging with strong attention to patient communication and customer service
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a discounted local rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered; prior travel experience is required
