Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Room position requiring active WI or compact licensure and trauma certifications including TNCC or TNS.

• Hospital-based Emergency Room setting
• Night shift schedule
• May be required to work at a second Emergency Department location within the same city
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC or TNS certification required
• Prior ER nursing experience required
• Flu vaccination required
• Education verification required

Additional Information

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care
• Develops and executes individualized patient plans of care in accordance with physician orders and facility policy
• Participates in department performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance
• Applies critical thinking to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
