Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced IR RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma Center in Everett, WA, requiring active IR experience and on-call availability.

- Interventional Radiology (IR) unit within a Level II Trauma Center
- 571 total staffed beds across both campuses
- Average daily caseload of 18 patients
- Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- No weekend shift requirement
- On-call is required: the IR Lab is covered by a call team Monday–Friday 5:30 PM–7:00 AM and Saturday–Sunday 7:00 AM–7:00 AM, with 1 RN on call during these hours; call volume varies based on staffing
- No floating between like units required within the assigned facility; however, all travelers may be expected to float between facilities within Washington State
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Block scheduling accommodated
- Facility covers parking costs
- Local candidates are not accepted
Requirements
- Active WA state RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrub color is open (no reddish-orange permitted)
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; all requested time off must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
- Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within Washington State may face assignment termination
