Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week inpatient rehabilitation assignment at a specialty hospital in White Hall, AR.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit at a specialty hospital facility
• 40-bed unit, including a 12-bed TBI unit
• Adult patient population (18+)
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Common diagnoses include CVA, BKA/AKA, hip fractures/replacements, knee replacements, brain injury, spinal cord injury, debility, and cardiac conditions
• Available equipment includes Vectra Bioness Gait Training System, Bionik Arm, Synaptic, Lite Gait, Saebo, and Ekso Skeleton (coming soon)
• EMR: Cerner
• Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Weekend hours may include a half to full day on Saturday and Sunday depending on census and patient needs
• One weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per month is required for all staff

Requirements

• Active, discipline-specific PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience
• Current BLS certification required (RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere
• Social Security number required for consideration
