Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg (Ortho) travel position requiring Epic EMR experience and a valid IL RN license.

Details

Hospital-based orthopedic Med/Surg unit (6C)
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
36 hours per week, 3 x 12-hour shifts
Epic EMR required
Level 1 Trauma facility experience required
13-week contract

Requirements

Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted)
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience
Epic EMR experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience required
ASN required; BSN preferred
English proficiency (speak, read, write)

Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
RTO not to exceed 7 days for the duration of the 13-week contract
Contingent workers may not be on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the health system
Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, developing and modifying individualized care plans, implementing nursing interventions, and maintaining accurate documentation
Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and supports patient and employee safety initiatives
