Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an LTAC/Telemetry position in Albuquerque, NM, requiring vent/trach experience and a NM or compact RN license, with a weekend-only schedule.

Details

• Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Weekend-only schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Patient population requires advanced respiratory and vascular support, including ventilator and tracheostomy management and central line care

Requirements

• Active NM or multi-state compact RN license, currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent LTAC or telemetry nursing experience required
• Vent/trach experience and central line knowledge required
• Wound care experience preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for shift accountability, patient care planning using the Nursing Process, delegation, and supervision of assigned personnel
• Prior employment at any Kindred Hospital facility (permanent or contract) must be disclosed
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
