Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with experience in pediatrics, TEE, Stress TTE, Definity, and bubble studies for an afternoon/evening shift role serving a NICU-to-geriatric patient population.

Details

• Cardiac Stress Lab setting within a cardiovascular department
• Patient population spans NICU neonates through geriatrics
• Average of 7–8 studies per shift
• Testing modalities include Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE), Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), and Cardiac Stress testing
• Afternoon/evening shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• On-call required 1–2 days per week and every 4th weekend
• Epic EHR experience preferred
• PACS experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
• Current BLS required
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required
• Experience with pediatric echo, TEE, Stress TTE, Definity contrast, and bubble studies required
• License required if applicable
• Proof of address and 1 supervisory reference required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB (MM/DD) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiography exams including TTE, TEE, and Cardiac Stress testing, adhering to established protocols
• Prepare and monitor patients before and during procedures, including explaining the procedure and administering imaging enhancement agents per department policy
• Utilize Epic EHR to review patient information, enter preliminary reporting, and document critical findings
• Pass/fail EKG test administered on the first day of orientation, with two attempts allowed; study guides will be provided
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
