Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position within a hospital's Surgical Services unit on Martha's Vineyard, requiring an active MA RN license and on-call availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Hospital-based Surgical Services (Operating Room) unit
• Schedule consists of five 8-hour day shifts with variable start times
• On-call required for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Shared housing is provided; no guests or pets allowed, and a personal vehicle is required
• EMR: Epic (charting system used at this facility)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — conditional or pending licenses are not accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
• All certifications must be AHA only per facility policy
• Active MA license must be in hand at the time of consideration — no pending licenses accepted
• Primary source verification of professional license required (both NURSYS and BON required for nursing licenses)
• 2 professional references required
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted

Additional Information

• No RTO (time off requests) will be considered for this assignment
• Local candidates are welcome to apply; candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and subject to a reduced rate
• Flu vaccination is mandatory during flu season with no exemptions permitted
