Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care position in Evansville, IN, with telemetry and stroke unit experience required.

Details

• Work in a 30-bed Stepdown Intermediate Care unit serving as a dedicated Stroke Unit
• Patient population includes medical, DKA, cardiac, GI, renal, sepsis, trauma, and surgical cases
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift: 06:45–19:15
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Indiana or a compact state currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (both must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (Group A renewed yearly; Groups B–F renewed every 2 years)
• Valid US Social Security Number and a US home address required

Additional Information

• Provide intermediate stepdown care to a diverse patient population including stroke, cardiac, and post-surgical patients
• Two professional references required for consideration
• A copy of Driver's License is required for consideration
• Full Social Security Number and full date of birth are required for consideration
