Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care position in Evansville, IN, with telemetry and stroke unit experience required.
Details
- Work in a 30-bed Stepdown Intermediate Care unit serving as a dedicated Stroke Unit
- Patient population includes medical, DKA, cardiac, GI, renal, sepsis, trauma, and surgical cases
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
- Day shift: 06:45–19:15
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license in Indiana or a compact state currently in hand
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (both must be AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (Group A renewed yearly; Groups B–F renewed every 2 years)
- Valid US Social Security Number and a US home address required
Additional Information
- Provide intermediate stepdown care to a diverse patient population including stroke, cardiac, and post-surgical patients
- Two professional references required for consideration
- A copy of Driver's License is required for consideration
- Full Social Security Number and full date of birth are required for consideration
- COVID vaccination is not required
