Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal Fetal / OB-GYN sonography with ARDMS certification and proficiency across OB, general, and small parts imaging.

Details

• Work in the imaging department of a 703-bed acute care Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center (Adult & Pediatric) with an integrated Maternal Fetal Medicine program and NICU
• Exams interpreted by board-certified maternal fetal medicine specialists
• OB/GYN imaging across all trimesters, including fetal anatomical surveys and amniotic fluid index assessments
• General abdominal imaging including liver, gallbladder, biliary tract, pancreas, spleen, and abdominal aorta
• Pelvic/genitourinary imaging including bladder, ovaries, uterus, vaginal, and renal studies
• Small parts imaging including thyroid, testicles/scrotum, and superficial masses
• Adult and portable studies across work settings
• 4x10 hour night shifts, 8:30 PM – 6:30 AM, weekday nights
• Weekend availability preferred
• Backup call required as needed; weekday call coverage Monday–Thursday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, approximately every 6 weeks
• Must work one holiday during the 13-week contract
• Floating with variable shifts possible per facility policy
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• ARDMS certification required
• BLS required
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency in OB/GYN ultrasound including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester imaging required
• Experience in general abdominal, vascular, pelvic/genitourinary, and small parts sonography required
• Pediatric exam experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 5 years of ultrasound experience
