Description

American Traveler is seeking an inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist with acute care med/surg and dysphagia experience for a travel contract in California.

Details

Inpatient acute care med/surg hospital setting
Focuses on dysphagia therapy and Modified Barium Swallow/Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies (MBS/VFSS)
Schedule options include Tuesday–Saturday, Wednesday–Sunday, or Saturday–Wednesday

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Valid California Speech Pathology license required if applicable
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Current BLS certification
Inpatient acute care med/surg experience required
Proficiency in dysphagia therapy and MBS/VFSS procedures
Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
Two professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last 2 years

Additional Information

Provide dysphagia evaluation and treatment in an inpatient acute care setting
Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) and Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies (VFSS)
Non-traditional weekly schedules available, including weekend-inclusive rotations
