Description
American Traveler is seeking an inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist with acute care med/surg and dysphagia experience for a travel contract in California.
Details
- Inpatient acute care med/surg hospital setting
- Focuses on dysphagia therapy and Modified Barium Swallow/Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies (MBS/VFSS)
- Schedule options include Tuesday–Saturday, Wednesday–Sunday, or Saturday–Wednesday
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid California Speech Pathology license required if applicable
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Current BLS certification
- Inpatient acute care med/surg experience required
- Proficiency in dysphagia therapy and MBS/VFSS procedures
- Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
- Two professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last 2 years
Additional Information
- Provide dysphagia evaluation and treatment in an inpatient acute care setting
- Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) and Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies (VFSS)
- Non-traditional weekly schedules available, including weekend-inclusive rotations
