Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Ortho position requiring at least 1 year of experience and working night shifts on a 13-week contract.

Details

Hospital Med/Surg Orthopedic unit setting
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
Patient ratio of 1:6
Weekends required
Floating required
Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
Current certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) — pending CPI acceptable
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
