Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in California, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and an active CA RN license.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a 377-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Floating between like units and all facilities within the state is required
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Charting is performed using Epic (experience required)
• Free parking available on-site
• Scrubs may be any color; L&D and OR scrubs are provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (pending license not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, and LA Fire Card
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; requests made after submission or offer may be denied
• Block scheduling requests are subject to manager discretion
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
