Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU Float position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a willingness to float to Med Surg.

Details

• PCU Float position with primary float support to Med Surg
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (3x12 and 4x12 hours), biweekly total of 84 hours
• Weekend work required as needed, which may include most weekends during the contract
• Block scheduling may be accommodated, but set schedules are not available
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Must be willing to float to Med Surg and other units as needed
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances that could cause a positive result, including CBD products, prior to and during the contract
