Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echocardiographer with RDCS or RCS certification and Epic EMR experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital cardiac catheterization unit.

• Hospital-based cardiac catheterization unit setting
• 3x12 hour day shifts per week
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited 2-year Echocardiography program including technical and clinical training
• 1–2 years of echocardiography experience preferred
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS required
• Proficiency with Echo, including the ability to recognize abnormal structures, correlate findings into a useful study, and utilize ancillary devices such as selected transducers
• Ability to deviate from standard techniques when necessary and develop new approaches
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current MA license required (MA Temp License accepted); license required if applicable
• DOB and full Social Security number required for consideration
• COVID vaccination medical or religious exemption documentation required if applicable

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff of this facility are not eligible to return as travelers regardless of time elapsed since separation
• No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO) will be approved during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate
• No specific scrub color is required; blue is recommended
