Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring cardiac telemetry experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week night shift contract.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Primary patient population includes cardiac diagnoses such as Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), rule-out Myocardial Infarction (MI), Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), and arrhythmias
• Secondary focus on respiratory conditions including COPD and pneumonia
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required; holidays as needed
• Floating required as needed
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
