Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week outpatient contract, treating patients with acute and chronic neuro/musculo/skeletal injuries and conditions.

Details

  • Outpatient physical therapy setting within a rehabilitation department
  • Services include sports and orthopedic rehab, neurological and stroke rehab, balance therapy, and spinal therapy
  • Treats patients with acute and chronic injuries or limitations affecting physical mobility or functional independence
  • Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, no weekends
  • Position requires travel to multiple points of care

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
  • Current, unencumbered Oregon PT license required (Oregon license required if applicable)
  • BLS (Healthcare Provider level) required
  • Ability to travel to multiple care locations

  • Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of patients experiencing declines in physical mobility or functional independence

Traveler friends. Unit ratios very appropriate.

Cons

Schedule was atrocious especially night shift. Significant amount of floating to the ER as helping hands or a sitter.
