Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position working nights at a hospital in West Virginia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and AHA-approved certifications.

Details

• Hospital-based Medical Surgical unit (3rd Floor)
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WV or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA-approved BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October–March); declinations are not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients on a dedicated inpatient unit
• Candidates previously employed as permanent staff at CAMC must wait 2 years before being eligible to work as a traveler at this facility
• Any missed shift must be made up within the same work week, or within the same pay period if not possible within the same week
