Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical position at a hospital in West Virginia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and night shift availability.

Details

34-bed Med/Surg unit with telemetry capabilities
Night shift: 19:00–07:30, available as 3x12 or 4x12 schedule
Weekday and weekend shifts required, with 3 weekends per 4-week scheduling period
Patient ratio of 1:5–7
EMR: Cerner

Requirements

Active WV or compact RN license required
Current certifications required: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
Two manager or charge nurse references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel pay

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Contract extension is possible
Scrubs are not provided by the facility
Attendance reliability is essential — candidates should be aware that the facility has a low tolerance for call-offs during the contract period
