Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU/PICU) position in Minnesota, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PICU or pediatric CVICU nursing experience.

Details

  • Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU/PICU) setting
  • Patient population includes pre- and post-operative cardiac surgical patients, PICU surgical patients, trauma patients, and pre- and post-cardiac procedural patients
  • Full-time position (1.2 FTE) with rotating day and night shifts
  • Every other weekend required; every weekend schedule may also be considered

Requirements

  • Active Minnesota RN license required
  • Current BLS and PALS certifications required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum 2 years of PICU experience including care of pre- and post-operative surgical and trauma patients, OR minimum 2 years of pediatric CVICU experience including care of pre- and post-operative cardiac surgical and cardiac procedural patients
  • N95 fit testing required

Additional Information

  • Care for a complex pediatric population spanning cardiac surgery, general PICU surgery, trauma, and cardiac procedural cases
  • Every weekend schedule is an accepted alternative to the standard every other weekend rotation
