Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a 13-week travel contract in Tucson, AZ.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting at an acute care hospital in Tucson, AZ
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Approximately 9–10 on-call shifts per month plus 1 weekend of call per month
• Procedures include angiograms, PCI, complex cases (CTO, left main, PFO, device implants, PE thrombectomy, IR cases, peripheral), and STEMI coverage
• Use of Impella and IABP expected
• Monitoring and recording performed on MacLab
• EMR: Cerner
• Structural heart experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required
• ARRT certification required — RCIS certification is not accepted
• Current BLS required
• Proficiency in sterile technique and scrubbing cath lab procedures required
• Experience with Impella and IABP required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred; MacLab training provided
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• License required if applicable
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Duties include scrubbing and monitoring/recording for a full range of cath lab procedures
• MacLab training is available for candidates with monitoring experience but limited MacLab exposure
• Knowledge of cath lab products and ability to restock rooms is expected
• Any solid color scrubs are acceptable
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• RTO requests must be for less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered for this position
