Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a 13-week travel contract in Tucson, AZ.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting at an acute care hospital in Tucson, AZ
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Approximately 9–10 on-call shifts per month plus 1 weekend of call per month
- Procedures include angiograms, PCI, complex cases (CTO, left main, PFO, device implants, PE thrombectomy, IR cases, peripheral), and STEMI coverage
- Use of Impella and IABP expected
- Monitoring and recording performed on MacLab
- EMR: Cerner
- Structural heart experience preferred but not required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required
- ARRT certification required — RCIS certification is not accepted
- Current BLS required
- Proficiency in sterile technique and scrubbing cath lab procedures required
- Experience with Impella and IABP required
- Cerner EMR experience preferred; MacLab training provided
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- License required if applicable
- Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Duties include scrubbing and monitoring/recording for a full range of cath lab procedures
- MacLab training is available for candidates with monitoring experience but limited MacLab exposure
- Knowledge of cath lab products and ability to restock rooms is expected
- Any solid color scrubs are acceptable
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
- RTO requests must be for less than one week in duration
- Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered for this position
