Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an LTAC/Telemetry night shift position in Little Rock, AR, requiring a minimum of 2 years of LTAC experience and active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting
• LTAC/Telemetry unit serving patients requiring extended acute care
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AR RN license or compact multi-state RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only; RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent LTAC experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for shift accountability, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical leadership, and scientific judgment in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel
• Maintains clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
• Candidates who have previously worked at a Kindred Hospital facility in a permanent or travel capacity should be prepared to disclose facility name, dates worked, and reporting manager
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• Any requested time off within the first 3 months of the assignment should be disclosed upfront
