Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract in Brunswick, ME, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and active ME or compact RN license.

Details

• ICU position in a hospital setting with 11 beds
• Mixed acuity patient population
• Patient ratios of 2:1 to 3:1 depending on acuity
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 36 hours per week with variable weekend requirements
• EMR: Epic
• Travelers are not typically required to float within the unit, though a 25-mile float policy between facilities may apply as needed
• Low census/acuity downstaffing may occur, with on-call status in those instances

Requirements

• Active RN license — ME state or compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• No travel pairs or groups will be considered for this position
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this at time of consideration
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (in Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and may be subject to a different pay rate; local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Use of AirPods, laptops, and cell phones on the unit is prohibited
• Non-scrub wear and hoodies are not acceptable attire on the unit
