Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU travel contract in Brunswick, ME, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and active ME or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with 11 beds
• Mixed acuity patient population with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 2-3:1 depending on acuity
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Variable weekend hours required
• On-call requirement during low census/acuity periods (downstaff and on-call)
• Travelers are typically not required to float within the unit
• EMR: Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active ME RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• 2 professional references required
• Hoodies and non-scrub attire are not permitted on the unit
• Use of AirPods, laptops, and cell phones is prohibited while on the unit
• A 25-mile float policy between facilities may apply as needed
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (Maine or New Hampshire residents) are considered local and are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
