Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Level I Trauma, Magnet teaching hospital, with experience in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience required.

Details

  • Acute care hospital setting within a Cath Lab unit at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 554 staffed beds
  • Ideal candidates have experience in both Cath Lab and Angiography with scrub experience
  • Charting performed in Epic
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • On-call requirement of approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3–4 weeks
  • Floating within the facility and across the health system is required; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
  • Local candidates will be accepted

Requirements

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • ARRT-R certification required
  • Oregon state license (OBMI) required — license required if applicable
  • Experience in both Cath Lab and Angiography with hands-on scrub experience

Additional Information

  • Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff
  • Free parking available in any unrestricted space
  • All assigned education must be completed within one week of starting the assignment
  • No RTO permitted in the first 2 weeks of the assignment; maximum of 7 days RTO for the contract
  • One skills checklist and at least one reference required for consideration
  • Copies of certifications and COVID vaccination card required — no exemptions
  • Mandatory low-census cancellations must be communicated 1.5 hours before shift start; one mandatory cancellation per two-week pay period may occur without penalty

Full time staff are not happy. Can be over worked. Can’t trust anyone so keep your mouth shut and keep your options to your self.
