Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Level I Trauma, Magnet teaching hospital, with experience in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience required.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within a Cath Lab unit at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 554 staffed beds
- Ideal candidates have experience in both Cath Lab and Angiography with scrub experience
- Charting performed in Epic
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call requirement of approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3–4 weeks
- Floating within the facility and across the health system is required; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
- Local candidates will be accepted
Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ARRT-R certification required
- Oregon state license (OBMI) required — license required if applicable
- Experience in both Cath Lab and Angiography with hands-on scrub experience
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
- All assigned education must be completed within one week of starting the assignment
- No RTO permitted in the first 2 weeks of the assignment; maximum of 7 days RTO for the contract
- One skills checklist and at least one reference required for consideration
- Copies of certifications and COVID vaccination card required — no exemptions
- Mandatory low-census cancellations must be communicated 1.5 hours before shift start; one mandatory cancellation per two-week pay period may occur without penalty
