Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU Float position with a minimum of 2 years of experience, working nights on an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float position in a hospital setting
• Primary floating support to Med Surg unit
• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Alternating schedule of 36 and 48 hours per week (3x12 and 4x12 shifts)
• Weekend work required, which may include most weekends during the contract
• Block scheduling may be accommodated, but set schedules cannot be approved
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Must be willing to float, primarily to Med Surg
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid all products that could produce a positive result, including CBD, prior to and during the assignment
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
