Description
American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Occupational Therapist with 3+ years of experience and behavioral health background for a position requiring NBCOT licensure and flexibility to float and take charge shifts.
Details
- Day shift position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Inpatient behavioral health setting
- Requires willingness to float to other units and take charge shifts as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of OT experience, with behavioral health experience preferred; experience must be within the last 3 months
- Active NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) license required
- Active Vermont or Compact OT license required if applicable
- Active AHA BLS certification required
- Experience with multiple age groups required; must be listed on resume
- Behavioral health experience and relevant age groups must be documented on resume
- 2 supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment required for consideration
- OT skills checklist completed within the last year required for consideration
- Candidates residing within 35 miles of the facility may be subject to a reduced pay rate
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- CPI certification is offered onsite
- On-site housing accommodations may be available subject to availability
- RTO may not exceed 5 days for the duration of the contract
- Specific blackout dates apply during which RTO will not be approved: 3/16–3/20, 4/27–5/8, 5/22–5/26, 6/22–7/7, 8/10–8/14, and 8/31–9/4
- Any missed shifts must be made up prior to the end of the contract
