Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and active RT/ARRT or RCIS certification for a travel contract in Iowa.

Details

Day shift with floating within the unit as needed
Weekend call shared among staff
On-call requirement of 10–14 days per month on a rotating basis, with call hours from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Equipment used includes Impella, IABP, Shockwave, Penumbra, EKOS, 3D mapping systems, and stimulation systems
Epic EMR used; experience preferred

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
At least 1 prior travel contract required
Active RT/ARRT or RCIS certification required
Active state license required; Iowa license required, compact license accepted
Epic EMR experience preferred
Driver's license required for consideration
One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment or contract required for consideration
Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Candidates must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
Time-off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving holiday week and the Christmas/New Year's holiday window
Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
