Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Telemetry position at an acute care hospital in Alabaster, AL, requiring 2+ years of telemetry experience and night shift availability.

Details

• 4-Medical unit (21-bed) in an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population includes acute care and intermediate acute care patients
• Patient ratio of 1:6 (variable)
• Night shift: 3x12, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required, plus additional weekends as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required as needed, including to other facilities within a 25-mile radius
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, NCI, and CPI — AHA-issued certifications only (American Red Cross not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience required
• Medical-surgical experience preferred
• All certifications must not be expired or set to expire within 30 days of start date
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Navy scrubs required
• 13-week contract
• Joint Commission-accredited hospital recognized for stroke and cardiovascular care, including Primary Stroke Center certification
• Located in Alabaster, AL, near Birmingham with access to outdoor activities and community amenities
