Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position at a hospital in New Mexico, requiring at least 1-2 years of CVICU experience and active NM or Compact RN license for night shift coverage.

Details

• 13-week travel assignment in a 16-bed CVICU at an acute care hospital in New Mexico
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1-2 years of CVICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered
• First-time travelers should check with their recruiter regarding eligibility
