Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift travel position in Albuquerque, NM, welcoming first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population includes stroke and post-surgical patients
• Telemetry central monitoring is available 24/7 — nurse is not required to independently interpret dysrhythmias
• Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Floating required
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
• Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation
• Scrubs must be any solid color with no logos
