Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active NM or compact RN license.

Details

• Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting with 32 beds on the unit
• Night shift (18:30–07:00), 4x12-hour shifts per week, with an option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• 6 weekend shifts required within every 6-week period
• Floating required within scope of practice
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis
• Charting performed in Epic (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required; CPI certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• No RTO permitted during the first week of orientation; no more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved
• Any scrub color is acceptable, provided there is no hospital logo
