Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and night shift availability.

Details

• Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes General Rehab, Stroke Rehab, Spinal Cord Rehab, and Brain Injury Rehab
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
• Weekend work is required
• Floating to other units is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active RN license — Louisiana (LA) or Compact license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Active LA RN license with current Nursys verification required for consideration
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Work history with explanations for any gaps greater than 30 days required for consideration

Additional Information

• Royal Blue scrubs required
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Any former permanent employee of an LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
