Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 3 years of experience, EPIC proficiency, and multiple certifications including ACLS and NRP.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Manages patients in active labor, attends deliveries, and circulates C-sections
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to Postpartum (PP)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or compact license accepted
• Minimum 3 years of L&D experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• EPIC proficiency required
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the contract duration
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
