Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) position, requiring active OR licensure and at least 1 year of circulating nurse experience in the OR.

• Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting within a hospital surgical department
• Serves a diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly
• Cases include cardiac surgery and procedural sedation patients
• Works alongside a variety of provider specialties
• Day shift with varied scheduling; occasional weekend shifts required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license currently in hand
• Active OR RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (Healthcare Provider level) and ACLS (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing course
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU/PCU and/or medical/surgical acute care
• CVOR/Open Heart experience preferred (1+ year)
• ICU experience preferred
• Scrubbing experience preferred
• This facility strictly enforces all posted requirements and will not consider candidates who do not meet every required certification and experience criterion
