Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care/Stepdown position in Evansville, IN, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an IN or compact RN license.

Details

• Stepdown/Intermediate Care Unit in a hospital setting
• Progressive cardiac care unit with 28 beds
• Patient population includes medical, cardiac, pre/post CV surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow patients
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Day shift: 06:45–19:15
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
• ACLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required

• Provide nursing care to a progressive cardiac patient population including pre/post CV surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow patients
