Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week outpatient travel assignment in Hartsville, SC, requiring an active SC PT license and AHA BLS certification.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting within a regional medical center
• Schedule is Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–12:30 PM
• Occasional weekend coverage for acute care evaluations approximately every 5 weeks
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent PT experience required; hospital setting preferred
• Active SC PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required; must be issued by the American Heart Association (RCIS/RQI certifications not accepted)
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing patient education on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation
• Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
