Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Utah, requiring active UT or compact RN licensure and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in a single-lab Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• Lab performs cardiac cath and intervention, interventional radiology (IR), and neuro thrombectomy
• Accredited STEMI center
• Day shift schedule: 4x9s, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call required every other weekend and a few evenings per week
• Equipment used includes Philips imaging and Merge Hemodynamics/CPACS
• EMR: Epic (experience required)

Requirements

• Active UT or compact (NLC) RN license — must be active at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA) — pending certifications not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care for cardiac cath, intervention, IR, and neuro thrombectomy procedures
• Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year; candidates placed PRN through outside firms will be considered
• Travelers are expected to float within their assigned zone and are responsible for securing housing that accommodates this requirement
• Orientation is 12 hours
• 13-week contract
