Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position at an acute care hospital in Sylva, NC, requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and active ACLS and BLS certifications.

Details

• 86-bed acute care hospital setting in Sylva, NC
• Medical/Surgical Combination unit with 24 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekend requirement varies — every other or every third weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required on a rotation basis
• EMR: Paragon

Requirements

• Active RN license — NC or compact state license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Medical/Surgical clinical competencies required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• COVID vaccination card required
