Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist with pelvic health experience for a 13-week assignment in Sylva, NC, working across outpatient ortho/neuro and acute care settings.

Details

• Outpatient orthopedic and neurological setting 3 days per week, with acute care 2 days per week
• 86-bed acute care facility serving western North Carolina
• 1:1 therapy patient ratio
• EMR systems include Redoc (outpatient) and Paragon (acute care)
• Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Occasional weekend coverage may be needed if regular staff are unavailable
• No on-call requirements
• Floating is possible but only occasional and dependent on regular staff availability
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of PT experience required; new graduates will be considered
• Pelvic health experience required
• Lymphedema experience preferred but not required
• RQI certifications are not accepted
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Active PT license required if applicable
• Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

Additional Information

• Responsibilities span outpatient ortho/neuro rehabilitation and acute care physical therapy
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Orientation dates are scheduled on a recurring basis throughout the year
