Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist with pelvic and pediatric experience for an acute and outpatient rehab position at a critical access hospital in Bryson City, NC.

Details

• Position is based at a 25-bed critical access hospital offering acute, short-term rehab, and outpatient physical therapy services
• Covers both acute/short-term rehab and outpatient PT settings
• 1-on-1 patient ratios in outpatient, acute, and short-term rehab care
• EMR systems include Redoc (outpatient) and Paragon (acute and short-term rehab)
• Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Float and weekend requirements are position-dependent and will be discussed with the manager during the interview
• No call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience
• Pelvic health and pediatric PT experience required
• Active PT license required if applicable
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• RQI certifications are not accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities span acute care, short-term rehab, and outpatient physical therapy
• Preferred experience includes orthopedic and neurological PT
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
